We had a hot water heater that exploded in November and we were due to have the Christmas holidays at our house that year. The ankle-deep water that seeped into our finished basement ruined the carpet, lower third of our walls, and the wood trim. Jay came in and repaired everything... on budget, and as promised, on time for the holidays!

We had some problem with wood rot on the exterior of our house. Several contractors came by and gave us either an astronomically high price, or would not give us a price at all, due to the difficulty in assessing the damage upfront. Jay, however, gave us an estimate based on damage he could see, and then an hourly rate for any work he would need to do if/when more damage was revealed underneath. Throughout the job he kept us informed of his progress so there were no surprises at all when the job was completed.
